GENERAL PRODUCT FAQs

  • NODE⁵ is not a traditional CRM or ERP. It’s a Business Management AI — a platform built from the ground up to let AI Agents manage, automate, and optimize your business for real. Sales, operations, and accounting all live in one system, and are managed through natural language prompts — not manual configuration.

  • Both — and neither. NODE⁵ includes all the features you’d expect from CRM (leads, quotes, sales pipelines) and ERP (projects, invoices, revenue recognition, payments), but instead of splitting these into separate products, it unifies them into a single agentic system. You prompt it, agents do the work, and your entire business runs in sync.

  • Legacy platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.) were built for humans using menus and clicks. Their AI is bolted on — not foundational.

NODE⁵ was built for AI agents from day one. We removed the UI as the primary layer and added an Agentic Layer at the core, enabling true autonomous business processing, not AI-enhanced forms.

  • Yes. NODE⁵ is industry-agnostic and fully customizable. Whether you’re in SaaS, e-commerce, services, manufacturing, or something more niche, NODE⁵ adapts through prompt-driven logic, custom data tables, and agent workflows built specifically for your model.

  • No, but it scales humans immensly — it replaces human busywork. Agents don’t make your business decisions; they execute them. Your people remain in control, but no longer need to manage 40 tabs, 17 spreadsheets, or 6 different tools to run one process.

PRICING & BILLING FAQs

  • NODE⁵ is priced based on usage, not seats.

    You pay for:

    $55/month per ledger (business entity)

    • AI Chat Token usage (based on the volume of OpenAI tokens used)

    • API usage (based on how often agents or systems call your APIs)

    • There are no user limits, forced upgrades, or gated features.

  • A ledger in NODE⁵ represents a unique business entity — your company, a subsidiary, or even a client (if you’re an agency). Each ledger has its own isolated data, agents, configuration, and security context. You can run multiple ledgers under one login.

  • Every time you or an agent sends or receives a prompt using our OpenAI-powered agent layer, it consumes tokens (roughly 1 token = ¾ of a word).

We track usage monthly and charge based on simple, scalable tiers. You only pay for the tokens your business actually uses.

  • Yes — we provide real-time dashboards so you can monitor token usage and API calls. Most businesses start small and scale as automation increases.

FEATURES & CUSTOMIZATION FAQs

  • Absolutely. NODE⁵ allows:

    • Custom tables and fields

    • Prompt-driven logic changes

    • Agent flows per intent

    • Tenant-specific configurations

No coding required in most cases. Developers can extend functionality using our open API and schema-driven metadata engine.

  • Yes. NODE⁵ is API-native, which means it plays well with Stripe, Slack, Gusto, Shopify, HubSpot, and more.

You can also build two-way data syncs and trigger agent workflows via webhook, prompt, or scheduled automation.

  • Not at all. NODE⁵ is designed to be prompt-driven, so non-technical users can set up, adjust, and run business processes without code.

That said, developers love NODE⁵ too — we offer full OpenAPI docs, sandbox environments, and tenant-isolated data models for advanced use cases.

SECURITY & TECHNICAL FAQs

  • Yes. Every ledger is securely isolated using industry-best practices, including:

    • Row-Level Security (RLS)

    • Per-tenant encryption

    • Role-based access control

    • Audit logs of every agent action

NODE⁵ is hosted in SOC2-compliant environments and uses secure APIs for all agent interactions.

  • NODE⁵ is currently offered as a managed, cloud-based platform. If you require a self-hosted or private cloud deployment for compliance reasons, please contact us to discuss an enterprise plan.

  • You own your data. Exports are available anytime in CSV, JSON, or structured formats — and the API provides full access for sync or backup needs.

AGENTIC SYSTEM FAQs

  • An agent is an autonomous software entity that performs actions based on user prompts or internal logic. NODE⁵ agents handle:

    • Creating and modifying records

    • Running workflows

    • Executing accounting and sales logic

    • Validating data

    • Summarizing, reporting, and notifying

Think of them as smart coworkers who actually get things done — instantly.

  • Yes. NODE⁵ lets you define custom intents, flows, prompts, and metadata. You can extend or override any core agent behavior, either visually or via code. Enterprise clients can also train specialized agents for unique use cases.

  • Agents operate based on:

    • Prompt instructions

    • Context memory

    • Business rules stored in your database

If a rule is incorrect or incomplete, the agent may return an unexpected result — but NODE⁵ provides full visibility into what the agent did, why, and how it reasoned through the task. You can always override, correct, and improve.

  • No. NODE⁵ uses GPT models under the hood — but it surrounds them with a structured Agentic Layer, APIs, working memory, security policies, and deterministic workflows. This isn’t a chatbot.

It’s an intelligent operating system for your business.
